Pseudophaeochromocytoma in Parkinson’s disease

Objective: Despite combination with peripheral decarboxylase inhibitors significant amounts of L-dopa are peripherally metabolised. In patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD) treated with L-dopa and a dopa decarboxylase inhibitor, urinary dopamine concentrations are markedly elevated.
